Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is taking the world by storm. In Kapap ground fighting is a very important part. Most of the fights start when you are standing, but many fights end on the ground. So when you study reality based self defence, you need to study how to fight on the ground. Kapap get's the help from the world famous Machado family in this matter. John Machado is Avi Nardia's teacher and also from Eddie Bravo. Eddy Bravo has his own gyms worldwide. Eddy became famous in 2003 to defeat a Gracie. That never happend before. Now he has his own group of students with a specific style. One of his most famous techniques is called the rubber guard. You can find a lot of information regarding Eddie on Youtube.

One of his students from the beginning will be visiting Curaçao in June. He's not here for vacation, but to do two seminars. Frank Barca is an representative for Eddie in Australia and will be teaching June 6th and June 7th. We are planning to do this at least one day at the beach. So when you come from abroad, please don't forget your cameras! There are direct flights from America, Latin America and Europe to Curaçao. If you want, you can sleep for free at our gym. Just take your sleeping bags with you.

BJJ is not that big in the Caribbean, but we want to promote it the best way we can. So these seminars are open for all levels. Don't feel ashame when you don't have any experience.
