Summer/Winter Camp 2007
From the 24th till the 26th of August 2007 we ran the famous Kapap summer camp. The camp was for the first time outside the US and Israel. about 18 people joined us in Curaçao. Friday we went to a small island next to Curaçao called Klein Curaçao. From 09.00 hour till 15.00 hour Avi Nardia and Albert Timen, showed us many techniques regarding boxing and grappling. Saturday and Sunday we went to one of the famous beaches where we trained in Boxing, kicks, knife and gun disarming. All in all it was a perfect time. When it was time to stop everyone asked for a winter camp. We will hold a winter camp on the 16th of December. This will be a one day event. The classes will be run by the Kapap instructors from Curaçao. More details you can find in our classes page!
Because of the success of the summer camp we organized a winter camp. This was held on Sunday December 16th at the Lions Dive Beach resort. 43 people were attending. The weather was not that great, but well. When you're being attacked you don't know if the sun is shining or if it's raining. It was a perfect day. We did some workout and techniques involving hand, knees and feet. Later we did some combinations. Before the break Raul (on of our instructors) made a little bit of combat training. After lunch we continued with self defense techniques. We went into the water and did some water drills. Not to bad. Everyone could cool off a little. We finished with a Q&A session. We will run another camp during the summer months again!!
